Interesting Uses of Storytelling

I frequently come across uses of storytelling that are tangential to my direct interests but are interesting nonetheless – uses I probably would not have thought of, though they certainly don't surprise me. Here are a few:

I was curious about your loathing of games as well. Is this all games, from Tag to Chess to Mario Kart, or just a subset of games?

Because given your focus, I'm surprised by that. Games and stories are both powerful tools of learning and development. When consciously combined in meaningful ways they are transformative tools of unparalleled efficacy.
